Luce is a speed-focused, Clutter-based image viewer for GNOME.
It is intended for dealing with directories containing a lot of large images, for rotating them or for deleting them if needed.
Luce’s primary goal is speed. My dream is that only the typematic rate will be the limit. I intend to achieve it by preloading images on different threads and resolutions.
I’m developing it for the fun of it, but also for doing something useful for someone else. I have experience in C language, but almost zero about gnome, glib, gettext, debian packaging, launchpad, anything!
I’m open for any suggestions, critiques, contributions, translations, insults… All of those appreciated!
Luce is the italian word for light.
